SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING
SignNexus maintains an inclusive roster of ASL interpreters who are highly skilled in their field, experienced in specialized settings, and committed to facilitating effective communications for both Deaf and hearing clientele. We serve the needs of clients who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, Deaf Close-Vision, and Late-deafened.

Our interpreters reflect the diverse cultural and religious backgrounds of the Deaf community, including Deaf Interpreters, those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), and proud LGBTQ+ providers. We are dedicated to connecting Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing consumers with interpreters who match their language needs and accurately represent their personal identities.
NATIONALLY CERTIFIED
The majority of our interpreters currently hold a National Certification. SignNexus supports the development of novice interpreters, and encourages providers to engage in ongoing professional development at all stages of their career.

On-Site Sign Language Interpreting Services are available in the five Boroughs of New York, Long Island, Westchester, and New Jersey areas. Remote Interpreting Services (VRI) is available for clients nationwide! Interpreters simply join a scheduled video meeting as an attendee or panelist, then facilitate communications for Deaf and hearing individuals.
REALTIME CAPTIONING
(CART) SERVICE
SignNexus provides Realtime Captioning (CART) Services for clients seeking speech-to-text translations in meetings, lectures, training programs, classrooms, video conferences, or other environments. Captioners simply join a scheduled meeting, listen to the live audio, and then utilize their specialized software to generate realtime captions, which can be easily viewed by all event attendees.
LIVE STREAMS
Remote Captioning Services are available to guarantee the accuracy and quality of captions for events that are live streamed on video platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, YouTube, Vimeo, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, StreamYard, Twitch, and more!
CERTIFIED
SignNexus offers Remote Realtime Captioning (CART) Services with impressive speed and accuracy for clients nationwide! Our stenographers hold certifications from the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), including Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR) and Certified Realtime Captioner (CRC).
CREATING ACCESSIBILITY
Our Captioning Providers are individually assigned to provide services for events that utilize their background, certifications, interests, and professional experiences. SignNexus realtime captioners are dedicated to creating accessibility not only for Deaf audiences, but also for those who have learning or cognitive disabilities, people for whom English is a second language, or anyone who has difficulty understanding dialects and accents in audio.

SignNexus is thrilled to partner with a range of highly experienced Artistic Consultants to help harmoniously integrate Deaf perspectives into media and entertainment, and enhance the experience for Deaf audiences. Deaf Artistic Consultants are seasoned experts who work in film, commercials, television, theater, music, poetry, dance, and other performing arts settings.

Our experienced industry professionals can effectively collaborate throughout all stages of a production to help ensure the accuracy of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf representations on-screen or in live performance.
SUPPORT
SignNexus works with ASL Coaches, Interpreter Directors, and Directors of Artistic Sign Language (DASLs) to offer consulting services for projects of all types and sizes. Services may include: script reviews, Deaf culture consulting, ASL coaching for talent, Interpreter directors for performances, production consulting, Deaf Directing, casting support, character development, post-production feedback… and more!

Whether they are supporting the interpreters for a musical performance, or Deaf actors in an indie film, Artistic Consultants are there to guarantee the best experience for Deaf audiences. Similar to a voice coach or stunt director, Deaf Artistic Consultants will improve the quality of the final production.
